What a territory is, and what it isn't.

Written to be read in two minutes. These are the same rules the software enforces.

What am I buying?: One territory in one storm's pack, which you pick on the storm page. A territory is a fixed list of scored homes on whole streets, cut before the first territory sold, about the same number of homes as every other territory in that storm. On a small storm a street longer than a third of a territory can be split between neighboring territories; the storm page says when it was. On newer storms each territory is one area of the storm, drawn on the map; on some older lists a territory's streets are spread across the impact zone instead. The storm page says which, and shows every territory's towns, ZIP codes, home count and hail before you buy.
Which homes are in the zone?: Homes scored 70 or higher that sit within 1.5 miles of a 1-inch-or-larger radar hail cell on the storm day, or within 3 miles of a National Weather Service spotter report of 1"+ hail or 60+ mph wind. Per-storm packs use the radar swath itself as the footprint. Hail sizes from radar are estimates; a NOAA report is the only ground truth we show as verified.
What does exclusive mean?: Your territory's addresses are not in any other territory of this pack, and not in any other open Storm Pack: a home hit by two storms is only ever in the newer storm's pack, so two Storm Pack buyers never hold the same address. A street is never split between two territories. Cities held by an exclusive RoofLeads Pro subscriber are never packaged. Exclusivity is among RoofLeads customers; other roofers can of course knock the same streets on their own.
What is a starter?: $99 for about 100 of one territory's hardest-hit homes (this storm's radar over each home) in a territory you pick, as one block of whole streets: the hardest-hit street with enough homes around it, then the hardest-hit streets nearest it. Between 90 and 130 homes, because a street is never split. A territory gives one starter, only if it has at least 325 homes, and the rest of it stays for sale: its row on the storm page then says how many homes went to the starter, and its buyer gets every other home. The starter and the territory never share an address or a street. A starter that's refunded goes back on sale as it was. Buy a full territory later and the $99 comes off it.
What do I get, and for how long?: The homes, street by street, with owner name and phone or email where public records and our data partners have them (Do-Not-Call and Do-Not-Email screened; roughly a third to a half of homes have a usable phone or email). The storm record behind every roof. A Google Maps door route, a printable sheet and a CSV. Homeowner emails in your name once you approve them. 30 days of dashboard access to mark outcomes; the CSV is yours to keep after that.
Our promise: If your homes don't match the storm page (the storm, the hail sizes, the number of homes), tell us within 7 days and we'll replace them or refund you.
While you pay: When you start checkout, the territory you picked is held for you for up to 35 minutes, so nobody else can buy it meanwhile; if you don't pay, it opens again. If the territory you picked still went to another buyer a moment before your payment cleared, we refund you in full automatically. We never hand you a different area instead.
The free trial: A full territory starts free for 3 days. At checkout we place a hold for its price on your card; nothing is charged yet. The territory is yours from that moment: its homes, the map and the door route are in your dashboard. On day 3 we charge the hold, once. The CSV download, the rest of the phone and email lookups, and your homeowner emails start then, or the moment you press Pay now. Cancel before then with Cancel my trial on your storm pack page and the hold is released: nothing is charged and the territory goes back on sale. If the hold can't be charged on day 3, the territory goes back on sale. A starter, and the rest of a territory you hold a starter of, are charged at checkout.
How is the price set?: By the size of the zone, in tiers, shown on the storm page before you buy; every territory in a storm is the same price. One payment by card through Stripe, when the free trial ends. No subscription, no auto-renew.
Refunds: Your territory is delivered the moment payment clears. If your homes don't match the storm page (the storm, the hail sizes, the number of homes), tell us within 7 days and we'll replace them or refund you. The same goes if we got the storm wrong (wrong day, wrong area, homes duplicated across packs). If the territory you picked went to another buyer a moment before your payment cleared, we refund you in full automatically; we never hand you a different area instead. Otherwise a territory isn't refundable once its homes are in your dashboard. Checkout canceled before payment is never charged.
What we don't promise: No reply rates, appointment counts or income. A territory is a list of homes a verified storm touched, ranked by our scoring, with contacts where we have them. What you do at the door is yours.
Your obligations: Use the contacts lawfully: honor Do-Not-Call and Do-Not-Email flags, follow TCPA and your state's solicitation rules (Texas SB 140 for texts), and do not resell or share the list. One territory per roofing company per pack (a starter and the full territory it upgrades to count as one).
